Research in Macroeconomics

• Every week the Center for Macroeconomic Research presents a fresh report entitled Global Economic News, which contains analytical surveys of the current economic situation in Russia and in the world.
• The Center monitors the economic situation and public mood associated with it, and issues specialized economic surveys.
• It conducts macroeconomic research in cooperation with Russian and international scientific institutes.
• It prepares materials in order for Sberbank to participate in events and conferences, and provides consultation to the bank’s management.

Director, Macroeconomic Research Center

Ksenia Yudaeva has wide experience of working in an analytical environment. She holds a PhD in economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She has held the position of Director for Application Programs at CEFIR (Center for Economic and Financial Research), and in 2008 she took the office of Vice Chairman of the Expert Council of the Government Committee on Improving the Sustainability of the Russian Economy. In the domestic and foreign financial community she is recognized as a leading expert in Russian and global economic analysis.
